Lessons from the Box- Christmas 2010
Christmas morning 2011 was the first Christmas morning since Mike and I have been married that there were no kids in the house to open presents. At first, this sad feeling washed over me, then I thought about all the people I know who have awoken to the same feeling, sometimes for years. A friend from church who recently lost his wife, several couples who never had children, single friends. As God brought each of these names to thought, I said a prayer for them, that there hearts be filled with peace. I was gently reminded that sometimes we go through pain so we can feel others pain and lift them up in prayer.
